Since we're currently living with my in-laws for the summer, we try to be polite, clean up our stuff, help them out around the house, etc. You know, be exemplary house guests. We don't want to over stay our welcome. So, on that note, here is a conversation my mother-in-law and three year old daughter had today:
Daughter: No, Grandma, you can't come out to the pool!
Grandma: Well, who's house is this?
Daughter: Yours
Grandma: So, then, who's in charge here?
Daughter: I AM

A pool? Your in-laws have a pool? I am coming over just as soon as I get to TF! Daughter can say all she wants!
Dearest CJane, It is an inflatable pool. It is actually called the Dual Pool, you may have seen it at Costco. It has two separate pools with an inflatable child-sized slide connecting them. It does fit about 3-4 adults comfortably, though. Daughter would love to have you anytime.
PS CJane, 3:39 AM?!?! Seriously?!
Was I a cure for the insomnia or just part of the "19 Days of Me?" Like, not keeping a normal schedule if you don't want to? Just curious.
I can't sleep these days. My mind won't allow it. I think I am getting smarter.
