So, I realize that I have not been very diligent in my blog-posting lately. There is one very simple reason why:

My 15-month old son is in the process of growing eight
(yes, 8) new teeth. This started about 10 days ago, and oh what a fabulous 10 days it has been. There has never been such misery, such tears, and such Weeping, Wailing and Gnashing of, well, teeth. He had his 15 month well check and the doctor kindly informed me that I desperately needed to break him of his 3 bottle-a-day habit. Now, I completely recognize and appreciate his white coat, the stethoscope so casually slung about his neck, the medical school diploma on his wall, and the countless hours of study and sacrifice that have gone in to making him the Spring From Whence All Pediatric Knowledge Flows, but
that ain't gonna happen. There is not enough baby Tylenol or Orajel teething swabs in this world to make this baby give up his bottle right now. And I, for one, would much rather have a little bit of peace and a lot of a sleeping baby then worry about whether or not the kid uses a sippy cup. It's really all about priorities. So, you can see that Blogging has fallen way down on my List of Things To Do and Simply Surviving has taken over my life. But, have no fear because all the teeth should be in within the next few days and then I can blog some more.
Now, if we could only get the giant baby with 16 teeth to start walking. . . .

Eight teeth at once?!?!? That IS a mouth full. At least you'll get it over with at all once...
Don't worry, they're well on their way through; I could feel them when he bit down on my nose the other day. You may laugh, but it hurt.
