CHILDREN ARE HONEST. MAYBE TOO HONEST.

I come from a fairly musically talented family.

I did not inherit those genes. Cannot play a musical instrument, struggle to sing on key, etc.

I have accepted this genetic fate. I am happy to sing quietly in church and loudly in the car. (I am pretty good at Guitar Hero, though.)

But, tonight, the truth came out.

And the truth hurt.

While singing Cameron to sleep a little while ago, she took her pacifier out of her mouth. . .

. . .and stuck it in mine.

Ha! Reminds me of the time I was sick and hadn't put on makeup all day. Corinne was probably 3 and told me "Mommy, I need you to put on makeup."

Gotta love those moments.

That's Hi-larious! I've been told to stop singing and "I hate that song", but never a pacifier. Clever girl!
