APRIL:
The second time I have spent a birthday enormously, uncomfortably pregnant. The first was when I turned 25. This was my 30th.

MAY:
Sisters meeting for the first time: Cameron was about two hours old. When Lauren walked into my hospital room, the emotions, stress, and anticipation of the past nine months completely overwhelmed her. She burst into tears and just sobbed and sobbed at my bedside. In that moment, everything - for everyone - changed.

JUNE:
This was our last trip up to campus before leaving Law School. One chapter of our life, the biggest yet, closed for good.

JULY:
Cousins watching their dads and uncles set off firecrackers in the street and in the daytime. It didn't matter; they loved it. I love that they all have the exact same color hair.

After spending six weeks (half her life) apart, Cameron and Brian spend some time getting to know each other again.

I love this picture because I remember that there was still one load of laundry finishing up in the dryer. This is how I spend my Mondays. Brian and I fold at night while watching Chuck.

OCTOBER:
Brian home for lunch. Cameron is sleeping and Lauren is at school. Baker gets us all to himself for about 45 minutes. This is how he chooses to spend it.
Every. Single. Day.

NOVEMBER:
The birthday card Lauren made for Baker. It is a drawing of him and Lightening McQueen (who looks oddly like a very sad VW Bus).

Susan, I love this idea! And I really love all the pictures. What a great year you've had! Happy 2009.
That was cute! What a fun family. I never heard about the story of Lauren meeting Cameron... what a memory.
BTW I LOVED your Christmas Card! Such a cute picture.
I am totally going to steal this idea for my blog. Don't worry, I will give you credit for it.
Your Christmas Card was so cute! Jay and I just sat there and talked about how much we miss your kids. Then we decided we could move to Twin Falls because then we could see them again.
What the heck, I turn 30 this year and too will be very pregnant by then! Way to enter the 30's right! I loved your year in review! This was a great post! Your family is so beautiful!
