I am going to write this post to save you the trouble of calling to ask how my day went. Trust me, you don't want to hear it. But, it makes good blogging material so you're going to have to hear it anyway.
Today, Cameron ate a dead housefly and then splashed around in the toilet for awhile.
Today, I made Lauren cry six times. And she made me cry twice.
Today, while we were out, I lost Baker for about 20 minutes and then finally found him playing in the parking lot.
Today, Brian came home late from his own incredibly stressful day, gave Lauren a very kind but stern lecture, put the kids to bed and then bought me Cafe Rio.
I think my blood pressure is finally beginning to return to normal.
And once the baby stops crying and falls asleep, I will officially say that this storm has passed.
I'm hoping for better weather tomorrow.

Susan, I hope you don't mind that I still visit your blog once in a while. Mine has gone private, but if you'd like to come visit me you can email me at leah.lcs@gmail.com and I'll send you an invite.
I always love reading your posts. You're a really talented writer and I find myself giggling quite a bit :)
I'm sorry you had such a crappy day. That sounds like an AWFUL day ... I've had a few of them myself, but I think yours might take the cake. I hope tomorrow is better :)

I hope you have a better day. I am glad to hear my kids aren't the only wons who act like that. Cafe Rio can make anything all better.
Why wouldn't he be playing in the parking lot? It seems to me that he's just looking for the most efficient way to be run over or kidnapped--really, he's doing you a FAVOR.
Yes, I'm sure efficiency was exactly what he was thinking!
Wow. That is a crummy day! I have been there and feel your pain. Cafe Rio is always the best medicine. Glad you have finally have one!
P.S. Could Brian come here and give OUR drama queen the same lecture? Just wondering.
Landon totally ate a dead fly when he was little and he ate toilet paper out of the toilet after abbie had gone pee in there, oh and I lost Landon yesterday at the community pool. Honey, I so feel you pain. Just know that everyday is not like this and tomorrow is a chance to start fresh. I love you tons and tons!!
