PROS AND CONS

So, we are in the midst of finals here in law school. Well, you know, my husband is. I got my Bachelor's 6 years ago and never looked back. But, it is pretty much accepted that when your husband is in law school, you are in law school. Here are some of my pros and cons about these two weeks of finals:

1. PRO: My kids are in bed by 8 and my husband is off to study and I get the whole house to myself. No fighting over the remote or who's hogging the good blanket. It's been nothing but romantic comedies and endless chocolate every night.
2. CON: It's now past 10:30, my movie is over and I'm dead tired but can't sleep because it's really, really windy and my husband is gone and every noise that the house makes freaks me out.
3. PRO: We eat out a lot. This is because my husband is the cook around here and I do the clean-up and, well, neither one of us feels like doing either of these things at the moment.
4. CON: We eat out a lot. I'm still battling baby weight, so this isn't always a good thing. But we just figure it's kind of like the holidays right now. All bets are off until life returns to normal.
5. PRO: It means the first year of law school is nearly over. I'm one year closer to owning a home, getting a dog and, you know, settling in. (knock on wood)
6. CON: When my husband is stressed, I am stressed and that's just the way it is right now.
7. PRO: Hearing my nearly three year old daughter pray that her daddy "will do good on his test." And then I get all weepy and think of things like this:

Or maybe this:

Oh, yeah and this, too:

And definitely this:

And then, you know, I just can't think of any more cons at the moment.

I think he is alright. I mean he is ok.

But that little girl! She is smokin' for sure!

Cute post.
