And, now, we have some catching up to do:
October has been beautiful around here and we have really enjoyed the Fall weather and colors. The kids had a blast at a local farm picking pumpkins, strawberries, and apples. I really wasn't feeling well that day but sitting in the middle of a strawberry patch seemed to cure everything for me. It just smelled so good I thought I wanted to stay there forever!
The university here has a beautiful arboretum and we just couldn't resist taking our kids there one Sunday afternoon for some photos. My son was in no mood to pose for his pictures, so we did the best we could. I think they turned out pretty well.
Next, we made a trip south so my husband could go on some job interviews. They went well and we are anxious to hear back as soon as possible. It was great to get a little vacation and visit with family for a few days. The kids had a blast visiting their grandparents. I think the highlight was the leaf pile Grandpa made for them in the backyard:
Okay, that's enough for now. In a day or two, I will post pictures and details of Halloween and the Dozen's 2nd birthday. Thanks for hanging in there while I try to catch up on the last 6 weeks of our lives.
It's good to be back!
