Today, we were planning on spending the holiday BBQ-ing at my in-law's house. I was going to take some food along and realized that I was missing a key ingredient for one of Brian's favorite dishes. Brian offered to run to the store to pick up that one item for me while I started getting the rest of the dish ready. When he came home, he entered the kitchen where I was chopping onions. He placed the missing ingredient on the counter next to me, reached back into the grocery bag, said "I hope you always remember how much I love you" and slammed another item onto the counter before walking away.
