Monday was my daughter's first day of preschool. It was glorious. I now know why moms are so excited when the new school year begins again. After dropping her off, my son fell asleep in the car on the way home. He slept until it was time to go get her a few hours later. Let me spell out for you what this means:
I HAD A CLEAN AND QUIET HOUSE TO MYSELF FOR 2 1/2 HOURS.
Can you see the excitement on her face? She was soooooo happy to be going to school. No nervousness or trepidation at all.
You should have the excitment on MY face. Now, that would have made a great picture.

Yippee! I'm SO one of those I love school moms. When my kids are excited to go. . .why not be excited!!
