THE OLD 7-10 SPLIT

So, while visiting friends in Utah a few weeks ago, we took the kids bowling for the first time. The Daughter scored a 43. Not too shabby for a 3 year old, I think. As you can tell from the photo, she was thrilled, too. (And the bowling balls were really, really heavy.)

Actually, they had a great time for the first 4 or 5 frames and then sort of lost interest from there. It was also the first time my husband and I have been bowling together. The Dozen loved doing his now famous butt scoot all over the slick bowling alley floors.

But, seriously I think there are few things in the world as cute as a three year old in bowling shoes. I tried not to obsess about the foot germs we were all passing around to and from strangers.

Bowling rocks.

Sharing shoes does not.

Adorable pictures! I love to go bowling with my kids. . .especially on the same lane so I can take advantage of the bumpers! (Although, that doesn't always help me!!)

Bowling is one of our favorite date night activities with other couples. Let's face it, it's hard to keep a straight face when you're trying to show finesse while hucking a 12 pound bowling ball down the lane!!

Cute kids--and I'm with you on both counts about the bowling shoes. Stinky feet--not so good. Three-year-olds in bowling shoes--just about as good as it gets.

There was an Episode of the Simpson's where Homer got Marge A bowling ball for her birthday. I think I have Christmas covered this year.
