Last night, we finally (and painstakingly) taught Baker how to hold up two fingers and say the word, "Two." Now, when you ask him how old he is, he holds up those fingers, smiles really big, and says, "Good!"

In a post script to my last post, Lauren recently told me that when she starts Kindergarten next year she wants to either walk to school by herself (over my dead body) or ride the bus. But, she does not want me taking her.
Am I really so totally and completely lame that I actually cramp the style of a four year old?!?! I feel old and stupid.

Lauren got a new baby doll for Christmas and, therefore, her old baby doll has been handed down to Baker. (We are in the stage with our children where it is just easier to have two of everything and then they don't fight over stuff anymore.) Anyway, we asked him what he wanted to name his baby and he said, "Purple."
Note to self: Do not let Baker name the real baby when she is born.
