IN WHICH I COMPLAIN ABOUT STUFF

Things have been crazy here lately. Not in a bad way, just in a I-need-about-four-more-hours-in-my-day kind of way. Hence, the blog neglect.

Lauren has school, of course, and has also started piano lessons and tumbling. So between running all over town, homework (yes, in Kindergarten), play dates, and piano practice she has kept very busy.

Baker is entering a very crazy phase. I don't know if he needs more attention or what but here's a picture from a typical day with Baker:

Do I even need to explain anymore? And, yes our third attempt at potty-training is going well but too slow for my taste. (Maybe if he put his underwear inside his pants, we'd have a little more success.)

Cameron is crawling, pulling up to furniture, into EVERYTHING and eats a lot (see photo, above). She is also giving up her third nap in the late afternoon/early evening which means from like 4-8 pm, I have a very cranky baby who wants to be held constantly.

Things are good. But exhausting. The other morning, when Brian was about to leave for work, we said family prayer and he came over to give me a kiss and I said, "Please don't leave me here alone with them."

He thought I was joking.

I am in the middle of writing an actually good blog post but have neither the energy nor the brain power to finish it right now. It is my goal for the week.

Wish me luck!

I can SOOO identify. I only have two, but with just 12 1/2 months between the two of them, I feel as though they are constantly double teaming me! Hang in there. Sneak a peak of them when they are asleep, maybe it will refill your battery (at least a little).

Cameron is so dang cute!! I need to see her! It's been too long. How fun that Lauren is doing piano and gymnastics. I bet she loves it! And then Baker...what can I say, he is to funny.
Good Luck... Enjoy it, they will be all grown up in a few years and won't want to be home with you either! ;) hahaha

If I was a wise, educated mother I might say something clever like,

"this too shall pass."

But quite honestly, this is only the begining.

Enjoy the little happy moments in between the crazy hectic ones. (At least that's MY motto for the year).

Would you believe it if I told you that the day will come when you will miss all the crazyness, and that day will come much sooner than you think.
